Orage and Terry Linda Quarles and Graham and Anne Denton to Serve

as Event Chairs for the 2007 North Carolina Education Ball

Fifth Annual Event to Take Place at the Progress Energy Center for Performing Arts

 

(Raleigh, NC) – Communities In Schools of North Carolina (CISNC) will once again bring together community and business leaders to help celebrate education at the 2007 NC Education Ball. CISNC today announced that Orage Quarles, President/Publisher The News and Observer Publishing Company, and his wife, Terry Linda, along with Graham Denton, Bank of America Market President Executive and President of Bank of America North Carolina, and his wife, Anne, have agreed to serve as Event Chairs.

 

“We are extremely excited to have Orage and Terry Linda Quarles and Graham and Anne Denton serve as the 2007 NC Education Ball Chairs,” said Linda Harrill, President and CEO of CISNC. “Their leadership is a great example of how the business community can get involved in the lives of the students of NC.”

 

The 2007 NC Education Ball will be held on June 16, 2007 and will highlight a variety of performances from local students and celebrities.  The night will also include the presentation of the fifth annual H. Glenn Williams Power of One Awards, which recognizes outstanding achievements by community volunteers.
